120 Food Intolerance Test

120 Food Intolerance Test The Food Intolerance Test checks for the presence of antibodies to common foods in your blood.

If you eat a food you are intolerant to your body's immune system will develop antibodies to combat the reaction.

Many people with long term medical symptoms can benefit from identifying foods they are react to using the IgG food intolerance test.

When you recieve the Food Intolerance Test you will be asked to collect a small quantity of blood from a finger prick. You will then need to send the sample in the pre-paid envelope to our specialist laboratory. On arrival at the lab we carry out the analysis and send you the results in an easy to understand format.

From the analysis of the results, we will recommend elimination or reduction of certain foods. The benefits of the dietary changes usually take effect within 2 - 6 weeks.

Living with Food Intolerance

Living with Food Intolerance Food intolerance is far more common than food allergy, with which it is often confused. Intolerance, which can stem from staples in the western diet such as wheat and dairy products, provokes various adverse reactions ranging from tummy upsets and rashes to tiredness and migraine. Unlike allergies, however, intolerance can often be managed by cutting down on foods or avoiding them for a while, rather than excluding them permanently.

This book covers:
what food intolerance is and isn't
types, symptoms and causes of intolerance
how to seek an accurate diagnosis
the most common culprit foods
living with and recovering from your intolerance

Hidden Food Allergies

Hidden Food Allergies One in two people, including up to 70% of the chronically ill, suffers from a hidden food allergy. Are you one of them?

Classic symptoms that could be causing you unnecessary pain and discomfort include:
· Weight gain · strong food cravings · bloating · abdominal pain · irritable bowel · diarrhoea and/or constipation · chronic fatigue · depression · hyperactivity and bedwetting in children · rhinitis · eczema, itches and rashes · asthma · sinus problems · ear infections · mouth ulcers · headaches and migraines · joint aches and pains

If your symptoms, pain or energy levels come and go for no obvious reason, then you may have a hidden food allergy. In this practical and reassuring book you'll discover which foods make you ill and which foods suit you best.

Most food allergies and intolerances can be overcome. Patrick Holford and Dr James Braly explain the benefits of excluding certain foods from your diet and show how you can safely eat most of these same foods again only a few months later.

'An invaluable tool for those wanting to manage their condition'
Maureen Jenkins, Allergy UK
